Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 in New York, the fourth of five children to parents of German and Scottish descent. He was heavily influenced by his father, who worked in construction and home building, and began his real estate career based on that. His father died in 1999, while his brother Fred died of alcoholism, prompting Trump to avoid these habits.
Trump has been married three times. The first was to Ivana in 1971, with whom he had three children: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. He then married Marla Maples in 1993, with whom he had a daughter, Tiffany. His third marriage was to Melania Knauss in 2005, with whom he had a son, Barron William. Trump studied at Kew Forest School.
He completed his studies at Fordham University and then transferred to the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1968, after which he began working in his father’s real estate company. Donald Trump’s ideological orientation is clearly evident in several main aspects:
- Political positions: Trump is classified as one of the most prominent figures close to the far right in the Republican Party. His views are characterized by their opposition to immigration policies, as he is known for his strict positions towards immigrants, especially those of Mexican origin. He has accused them of exacerbating drug and violence problems, and called for a review of immigration laws.
- Financial independence: Trump enjoys great financial independence, which gives him greater freedom to take political positions without significant influence from pressure groups within his party. He expresses his belief in his ability to restore “America’s greatness” and promote the “American dream”, in addition to confronting what he sees as Chinese economic hegemony.
Donald Trump’s career, jobs and responsibilities:
In 1968, Donald Trump joined the Trump Real Estate Corporation, which was founded by his father, and which specialized in renting housing to the middle class in New York City neighborhoods. After the company expanded and began investing in new areas, Trump assumed the position of CEO, where he led the company towards further growth and expansion. Trump faced major financial crises between 1987 and 1997, in addition to the global financial crisis in 2008 and 2009. These crises caused some of his subsidiaries to go bankrupt.
Despite these challenges, he was able to successfully overcome the crises and continued to make huge investments inside and outside the United States, which helped enhance the value of the “Trump” brand in the American market. In 2003, Trump moved into the media field, where he took over the implementation and production of television programs on NBC, which achieved wide following in the United States and contributed to enhancing Trump’s fame.
Early presidential candidacy attempts: Trump ran for president in 2000 as a candidate for the American Reform Party. However, he did not achieve enough popularity and decided to withdraw from the race. And the attempt to run in 2012: After returning to the Republican Party, Trump decided to run for the 2012 presidential election, but later backed down from this step. Trump ran for president in 2016 as a Republican candidate. He won the election in a surprise result over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, although he lost the popular vote. Trump became the first US president who had no previous political activity or military service.
Trump officially accepts the Republican nomination for the presidential race: On Saturday, July 13, Trump was subjected to an assassination attempt while addressing a crowd of his supporters at an election rally in Pennsylvania
Trump predicts the outbreak of World War
Trump predicts World War III, says US history has seen two of the most incompetent leaders. By Republican strategist Gregory Tosi Trump vows peaceful transition of power if election is fair, anticipates presidential debate with Harris, whom he described as worse than Biden. Former US President Donald Trump has accused his November election rival Kamala Harris of using artificial intelligence to fabricate images of crowd sizes at her rallies.
Trump has claimed that images showing large crowds supporting Harris were fake, furthering a conspiracy about why there is so much enthusiasm for the new Democratic candidate, who replaced President Joe Biden after he dropped out of the race. He said Trump was referring to a photo of a large crowd at an airport in Michigan on August 7, cheering Harris as she exited Air Force One.
Trump’s comments have raised doubts about the authenticity of the photo. For its part, the Kamala Harris campaign responded to the claims with a statement asserting that the photo showed a real crowd of 15,000 people who came to support Harris in Michigan. The campaign also took the opportunity to point out that Trump has not campaigned in a swing state in more than a week, questioning why his energy was so low.
The claim, which the newspaper described as false by Trump, comes at a time when advances in artificial intelligence tools are seeing an increase in the spread of misinformation. Trump’s anger on social media reflects a Republican presidential campaign struggling to find its footing after Harris’s entry upended the race.
The pace of the campaign is much faster than voters saw when Biden led the ticket and it draws a stark contrast between Harris’ back-to-back rallies and Trump’s lighter schedule this month. Trump has held two rallies so far in August
Donald Trump debates Sept. 10
Trump said Thursday he would be open to debating his Democratic rival multiple times before the November election. “We think we should have three debates,” Trump said, suggesting two more would be hosted by Fox News and NBC, respectively. Harris confirmed she would hold the ABC debate while in Michigan on Thursday, and later said she would be open to more debates.
“I look forward to debating Donald Trump, and we have a date on Sept. 10. I heard he’s finally committed to it, and I look forward to it,” Harris said at an event in Detroit. Republican nominee Trump debated incumbent President Joe Biden once in June and had been scheduled to meet again on Sept. 10, but Biden dropped out of the race after a disastrous televised debate performance against Trump, clearing the way for Harris to become the Democratic nominee.
The Trump-Harris campaign has ended the debate debate after Biden decided to drop out of the race. Trump had previously expressed interest in a Fox News debate, noting that it would be held in Pennsylvania, “in a location to be determined.
” The Harris campaign, however, said it was still willing to debate Trump on September 10. In the same vein, Trump criticized Harris for not answering reporters’ questions or doing interviews in more than two weeks, since she became the presumptive Democratic nominee. He described her as a “barely competent” competitor and accused her of lacking intelligence. Later on Thursday, Harris told reporters that she had asked her team to “schedule an interview” before the end of the month.
