How to Use the Pip Calculator

Select Your Currency Pair

Choose the currency pair you are trading from the drop-down menu. This can be any major or minor currency pair, such as EUR/USD, GBP/JPY, etc

Enter the Price Movement

Specify the number of pips the price has moved. For instance, if you want to calculate the profit/loss for a movement of 50 pips, enter ’50’.

Select Your Account Currency

Choose the currency in which your trading account is denominated. This could be USD, EUR, GBP, etc. The pip value will be converted to this currency.

Calculate

Click on the ‘Calculate’ button to see the pip value of your trade. The Tool will display the pip value in your account currency, helping you understand the impact of price movements on your trading account.

Example , How to Use the Pip Calculator

If you are trading the EUR/USD pair, with a trade size of 1 standard lot, and you want to calculate the value for a 50 pip movement with your account denominated in USD, you would:

  1. Select ‘EUR/USD’.
  2. Enter ‘0.005’ in the Price Movement field equal to 50 Pips (50 x 0.0001)=50.
  3. Select ‘USD’ as the Account Currency.
  4. Click ‘Calculate’.

The calculator will then display the pip value in USD, showing how much your profit or loss would be for that price movement.
